Just a short walk off the center of the village of Kritsa this is a small house for renovation that can easily be made into a comfortable summer house with a lovely roof terrace with views on to the sea over the Kritsa valley.

Kritsa is one of the oldest, largest and most picturesque villages in Crete. It’s built on a hill and surrounded by olive trees and beautiful countryside. The village of Kritsa is part of the municipality of Aghios Nikolaos, 10 km away, and has about 2300 inhabitants including a few residents from Britain and other European countries

The house is built on two floors.
The ground floor is a room that can be used as an open plan living room/kitchen.

On the top floor there is a room which which can be made into bedroom with ensuite. An internal concrete staircase leads up to the flat roof which enjoys very nice views of the valley and the Mirabello bay in the distance and can easily be made into a lovely terrace.

Less than ten minutes to the coastal town of Agios Nikolaos and dozens of sandy beaches.
50 minutes to the international airport of Heraklion.

Agios Nikolaos is the capital of the county Lasithi and is located at the Mirabello Bay, north-east Crete, only 50mins away from the international airport of Heraklion.

Geographically the town is well protected from strong winds allowing sea sports and swimming nearly all year round.

Although Agios Nikolaos has a population of less than 20,000 it has a several banks, supermarkets, shops of every kind, doctors, a modern hospital of high standard, public swimming pool and tennis courts, yacht marina, harbour, cinema, theatre, gyms, a 9-hole golf course, schools ranging from nurseries to 6-level high school and generally all the amenities you would expect to find in a large modern European town.

The microclimate is one of the best in Greece and the moderate temperatures rarely exceed 30c in summer or fall below 15c in wintertime. This wonderful dry climate together with the natural beauty of the area has attracted most of the high class hotels of Greece to operate here.
