In the center of the old village of Kalo Chorio, next to the main village road, this is a small house for renovation on two floors comprising two small rooms and a bathroom on the ground floor and a larger room with a good sized balcony with sea and village views on the first floor.
There is a spiral staircase going on two the flat roof (which can easily be turned into a roof terrace) which enjoys lovely views of the sea and the country.
The property is in relatively good condition and would be easy to renovate into a one or two bedroom place.

There is parking on the street close to the house and services such as water, electricity and internet are easy to connect.

Around 50 minutes’ drive from the international airport of Heraklion, Crete.

The village of Kalo Chorio is 12 km south of the town of Agios Nikolaos. There are 3 very nice beaches in Kalo Chorio which are in walking distance from the house.

There are many shops, restaurants, cafes and services in the village which stays alive and vibrant through the summer and winter months.

Agios Nikolaos is the capital of the county Lasithi and is located at the Mirabello Bay, north-east Crete, only 40mins away from the international airport of Heraklion.

Geographically the town is well protected from strong winds allowing sea sports and swimming nearly all year round.

Although Agios Nikolaos has a population of less than 20,000 it has a several banks, supermarkets, shops of every kind, doctors, a modern hospital of high standard, public swimming pool and tennis courts, yacht marina, harbour, cinema, theatre, gyms, a 9-hole golf course, schools ranging from nurseries to 6-level high school and generally all the amenities you would expect to find in a large modern European town.

The microclimate is one of the best in Greece and the moderate temperatures rarely exceed 30c in summer or fall below 15c in wintertime. This wonderful dry climate together with the natural beauty of the area has attracted most of the high class hotels of Greece to operate here.
